Off Again

Hello from Ottawa!  I haven't had much reason to use this blog space in the past couple years, but for the first time since Finn was born we're embarking on a significant trip.  Of course, you all know what a big trip means - it's blogging time!

Euphy, Finn, and I headed up to Bancroft yesterday to rendezvous with my parents, and this morning we made our way up to Ottawa.  From here we'll be flying out for a few days in Yellowknife, and then on to meet up with Gray and Susan in Whitehorse.  It should be an exceptional trip, and I'm pumped to really get going.

Even though our stay in Ottawa tonight is more a matter of convenience we're still making the most out of our time here.  After checking in we headed up to the Canadian Museum of Nature, which was a new experience for all of us.  It's a stunning building, and definitely makes a bold impression before you've even stepped through the front doors.

It was a great pick for us; it's a nice museum for people of all ages, but had a lot of room to run and activity stations for young kids.  Finn had an absolute blast, and we've all had a great afternoon.

So, we're really just in the staging area for this particular trip, but we're still off to a good start.

Tomorrow it's off to Yellowknife and I'll do my best to check-in at the end of the day and let you all know how we're doing.
